Berths & Slipway
Berths
Port Erroll Harbour provides berths for both commercial fishing vessels and leisure craft, subject to availability and in accordance with the Harbour Rules.
All vessels allocated a berth must be appropriately registered or licensed where required and have valid insurance in place.
The annual berth application process normally begins in January each year. Demand for both commercial and leisure berths is high and a waiting list may apply.
If you would like to apply for a berth or join the waiting list, please contact the harbour for an application form and further information.
Other Options
Where a berth is not available, seasonal hardstanding and seasonal slipway arrangements may provide an alternative, subject to availability.
Please contact the harbour if you would like to discuss either of these options.
Visiting Vessels
Visiting vessels are very welcome, but berth availability cannot be guaranteed.
If you are planning to visit Port Erroll by boat, please contact the harbour in advance to check whether a temporary berth can be accommodated.
Slipway Use
The harbour slipway is available for launching, with both single-use and annual slipway fees available.
All boats and vessels launching from the slipway or using the harbour must have appropriate and valid insurance.
For safety reasons, jet skis are not permitted to launch from or operate within the harbour.
The current slipway fees are:
- Annual slipway permit: £85
- Single launch: £5
Slipway fees are reviewed periodically and may be updated to reflect the costs of operating and maintaining the harbour and its facilities.
Please contact the harbour for an annual slipway application form and payment details.
Single-use slipway fees can be placed in the donation box located at the top of the slipway.
Thank you for helping us maintain the harbour and its facilities.
